This is a 1950s gold filled gemstone scarab bracelet. The 7” bracelet features carved 14 by 10 mm scarabs of black onyx, tigereye, green agate, carnelian, blue agate and epidote. The reverse of each scarab is carved with depictions of ancient hieroglyphs. There is a fold-over clasp for closure, marked “1-20-12K GF”, and there is a spring ring clasp fo close the safety chain. An extra circular tag is signed “120 12K GF” with a conjoined TK, for Tru-Kay. Tru-Kay was a family owned Rhode Island business begun in 1946, until it was sold in 1982.
